Entering
the town from Eastbourne past the war memorial and a pedestrian
crossing, turn next right, keep to the left fork down
the hill into Blatchington road past an industrial unit and the Club is
on the next junction--turn left into Chichester Road for the entrance.
Coaches from Eastbourne should continue through the town past the
Station. After the S bend just past the BP garage turn right into
Salisbury Road. (Skip next paragraph.)
Coming from the Newhaven / Brighton direction come into the town past
the White Lion and the British Legion. Turn left into Grosvenor
Road ( or Salisbury Road if you missed! )
At the end of either road turn right into Kedale Road which drops down
to Chichester Road. Turn left and the Club is on your left at the bottom
of the hill. The last section is quite narrow and normally
congested with parked cars. Coaches normally park in Kedale road
to avoid this. This may be the only area for car parking also.
Coming from the Alfriston direction, just past the Cemetery wall bear
right into Vale Road. Follow Vale road to the end--turn right--past
Blatchington Pond to a crossroads. Straight across into
Blatchington Road--past the white building of the Youth Centre and the
Club is on your right. Turn right into Chichester Road for the
entrance.
We strongly recommend that you do not park in Blatchington road opposite
the Club or near the junction with Chichester Road as this is quite a
narrow stretch and many have had wing mirrors or worse removed by light
lorries trying to pass! Chichester road or Kedale road is safest.
